El Dia Uno Tambien
Below are thoughts from the airplane that I forgot to post earlier. We will have El Dia Dos up this morning.

Thoughts from the plane:
We are on the plane headed from Atlanta to Quito. Our journey has been relatively uneventful so far. Thanks to the generous folks back at home, we each had 2 suitcases to check with most of them full of clothing for children we will work with at the Quito dump on Wednesday. What a blessing Faith Baptist Church is! Thank you to all who gave. All of us look forward to getting to Quito and continuing the work started in Santos Pamba by Team Alpha and Team Dos. What an incredible God we serve!

Well, so far so good. Estoy muy emocionada para hablando en espanol con las personas en Quito y estoy feliz por la oportunidad a usar este langua…o intentar. Hola a mi familia, amigos, y todos las personas de Faith Baptist Church. Me ojala que tendriais una buena semana. Ok, so there’s my attempt at a little spanish. I just want to thank EVERYONE back in Wichita Falls that helped all of us get to this point and have/are praying for us. It’s going to be amazing to see what “el senor” will do in and through us as a continuation of what the last two trips have done.
Buenas noches,

Well we are on our way! I am pretty excited and I know everyone else is too. Thank you once again to all the people who donated clothes and accessories. We have tons to bring to quito and everything looks pretty promising. I am running on no sleep so please pray for energy and guidance! I don’t know much spanish to sign off to but i did learn at least one word today……. BANO (bathroom) hah so thanks once again!
In Christ Always,

I am looking forward to land in Quito and starting our portion of Gods work in these peoples lives. Thank you for encouraging and supporting us on our trip.

OK, for the Mother report…all of the children are behaving quite nicely and we even have pictures of Sarah and Alex sharing and playing together quite nicely. The first time fliers weathered the first segment rather well! Now, we are experiencing a little involuntary “fast” as our plane was switched at the last minute and this one has no oven. But, in a wonderful provision we are getting a FREE movie and lots of snacks….first class is getting a meal. No one is complaining and it is fun to begin our trip with memories that are so painless. Maybe it will make us a little more understanding of those we go to serve. Thank you for your prayers, calls, and words of encouragement.
Blessings,
Kathy L.
So I think I get the computer last of everyone. Nothing much to report apart from what has already been written. We are currently on the plane heading over the southernmost tip of Florida right…now. Nope, you just missed it. Sorry:) Anyway, free movie on the flight, so i’m logging off. Thank you for all the support and I look forward to going to sleep at 9,000 feet!
As always,
-Sean

echoing the sentiments of those before me, thanks for your prayers……I am excited to get to be a part of God’s plan in Quito and I can’t wait to get there and meet the people in Ecuador. It is definitely exciting to get to serve God in such a way and I am extremely grateful to all of the people that have helped make this trip happen.
