El Dia Cinco final
Praise Jesus for a great day!
Several folks have asked about our missionary Brenda Cargile who had surgery last week. She is doing well, but is not able to participate with us this week. I believe she has limited activity for a month and then will be back in action. She joined us for supper and then took Josh and I to the SuperMaxi to buy some snacks for our children.
Also, a point of clarification from yesterday at the dump. We worked with the daycare ministry that works with children of parents who live and work at the dump. This daycare is inside the dump property, but is a clean environment that is well taken care of. The trash is dumped very near the day care so the smell is overwhelmingly bad. Sarah Henry was not feeling well and the smell had her feeling even worse. But, we do not have pictures of where the people live at the dump nor of people going through the trash, as that is not the part of the dump where we were. I will also say that this ministry is an incredible ministry and I’m so glad we got to be a part of it. Another cool thing about this ministry is that one of the missionaries who works there on a weekly basis is Vickie Lasater, who is a friend of our pastor.
Enjoy the video blog and pics.
And last, but certainly not least, the pictures from today’s excursion. I would like to note that this has been the only day in which my slideshow has not been molested in any way.

What a blessing to see you with the school children! May the Father continue to water with His grace and mercy the plantings of all three teams. May He give you more “assigments” to share the Good News of Jesus today! – Kermit
Hey guys, exciting to see how you all are being used by the Father. Remember to not ever get discouraged when it seems “your” plans are going according to your desire. God’s plans never fail. Just know that He will accomplish His goals through you if you remain obedient. Neely, be sure to get the receipe for that hot sauce, you know I could always use another reciepe. You never know when we could get pastor Scott to eat some. Stay ready, stay excited, stay obedient.
so, doing the old volleyball. That will be intense! No betting, remember. One of the missionaries told me about that. I will pray you live to tell (them about Jesus) about it.
How smart Team Deportes! I LOVED the hot sauce! Anytime it was out, I put it on all my food. Neely please learn the recipe (if possible). Also I will be praying today for tomorrow to go well. Saturday is going to be kick awesome! I just know that God has good things in store for each of you on Saturday. Keep up the good work and have fun climbing today!
Love in His name!

We are praying for your last day there in Santos Pamba tomorrow. We pray that many people will come out to play volleyball and that they will see Jesus in all of you and that you will reach people for Him. Our God is Big, Strong, and Mighty as you sang yesterday. I love you, Josh. Take care of yourself !
Love to all of you!
