TEAM ALPHA
TEAM ALPHA will depart Saturday, April 5, to begin the work. They will prayer walk as they go door to door to meet the people to tell them of God’s love for them. Two of the days they will be in the local school (grades 1-8) to teach health, play fun games, sing with the children, and tell Bible stories. Members of TEAM ALPHA are Joyce Bruce, Lois McCulley, Debbie Lawson, Kristi Mack, Josie & Joel Perry, Sue Bartlett, Alan Sizemore and Kermit Tandberg. Please take time right now to pray for them, the people in Quito and the missionaries. Thank you.

I’m so excited about this partnership. We will continue to pray for the people of Ecuador and Team Alpha… go team!
I am excited about Team Alpha and am praying for you and the opportunity to reach the lost and found a church!
After a late start from DFW (8:01 AM) Team Alfa arrived in MIami at 11:17 Am Local time. Almost 25 minutes late but enroute they had a great view of a storm system extending from Mobile to the North Carolina/ Virginia border. They were a couple of thousand feet above it.
We’ll follow them to Quito. You can also by going to HTTP://Flightaware.com and entering the Airline (American) and the flight number (931) for the next leg.
Team Alfa has just left Miami (2:55PM CDT). Their flight path will take them over Cuba and the Panama Canal. The weather looks fairly clear enroute so they should see some great sites.
Stay tuned for their arrival!
PS: the flight from Miami to Quito should take 3 hours and 44 minutes.
Team Alfa just arrived in Quito at 6:40 PM CDT.
We love you guys! We are daily in prayer for you!
I just spoke with Brenda and she said the team is settled in tonight. She said they looked great for such a long day of travel. We are praying for you guys. Have a great day of worship at El Ejercito (uh-hair-seeto) Church!
great pics for day one. we are praying that everyone becomes acclimated to the altitude asap.
Great pics. Praying for all of you. Tonight the report from the New Orleans mission trip was moving. Josh encouraged us to examine our lives in light of 2 Thessalonians 1:11. I pray that God will continue “to count you worthy of His calling and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith”.
Team Alpha. Great work. Looks as if you have been busy. As I have in prayer for your progress. Web site pictures are awesome. Gage sends his love to “Nana” as well as I to you and the rest of the group.
In His grip.

Team Alpha:
The science teacher in me can’t help but mention that the ALPHA star in a constellation is the brightest star. You all are taking the LIGHT of our Father to Ecuador. Scripture is filled with examples of how Light breaks darkness–that is its function–exactly how God created it. You are bringing the LIGHT–Freedom from darkness. The Israelites had light that guided them out of slavery and our ultimate light–Jesus Christ came to set us free from our slavery to sin. We pray that the LIGHT will permeate the darkness and ignite great things for HIS kingdom.
