Tuesday
Hola family and friends,
Well, the word for today is ¨underestimate¨. As in never underestimate what God is going to do. Yesterday, we thought God had worked a plan for us to see about 300 students on Tuesday. Tuesday came and when the morning ended we had presented to almost 600 students. Every item we brought is gone. Children all over this neighborhood of Carcalen have gone home with Good News bracelets, toothbrush, toothpaste and who knows what else.
The exciting thing is that this school is directly across from the small house church that meets here. The church has grown from 25 to 50 in a year. But this school was -closed- to the missionaries and was a vital key to building relationships in this area. Today when we left, the director told missionary Michael Wollett,
From now on, this school will be wide open to anything you would like to do for our children and our neighborhood.
He had been trying for a year just to do one thing at this school. Michael classified the mission trip a success, and we still have 5 days left. Who knows what God will do next. Whatever it will be, we will try not to underestimate Him.
Keep up the prayers. They are working.
In Christ,
Danny
