Friday

Wow! what an end to the week. We went to our last school today and had a tremendous experience.  I think we all feel that we have finally mastered this teaching and sharing, and now we are finished. Tomorrow is a free day and we will travel to the city of Otavalo in the mountains to go the large market they have in the city square.

It may be that in my technological ignorance I have prevented you from making comments on pages the last few days.  Hopefully that is corrected now, so talk your heart away.  It is uplifting for each of us to read your comments and reactions.

We have not done a final tally, but I suspect we have personally spoken with close to 1,000 students and 100 teachers.  This is waaaaaayyyyy more than we thought we would have the opportunity to see.  God has blessed at every turn.  We had a lot of help this week for the five of us.  Eduardo and Mariela translated a lot. Suzana put on her clown outfit everyday and wowed the little kids with stories and songs. Sara is a college student who is here this summer and she gave and explained salvation tracks to all the teachers. Michael and Cindy Wollett, our IMB missionaries, had paved the way for all we were able to do, and now they have the awesome task on following up with all of these schools.  Every school director we saw this week has told Michael he can return and coordinate anything he would like with their students and or teachers.

Sue has been amazing to watch as she used her story cloth and world map to teach the children the story of Noah´s Ark. Lorrie has kept the kids engaged through stories and explaining to the younger ones the meaning of the evangelism bracelets.  Every time I looked around, Brady and Kati had a group of kids involved in a soccer game or were holding little ones in their laps.  I am so thankful for what God has accomplished through this small, obedient group.

We will be home late Sunday night, but we will see and talk to you all week long and we look forward to sharing with you the amazing things God has done this week.  Thanks for your prayers.

In Christ,

Danny
